5 more random things I am thankful for!!!!

1. I survived my whole family being on spring break while I got up to go to work! I did take off Thursday afternoon for the track meet, bu that doesn't count since I had to get up and go to work in the morning!

2. Saturdays where I get alot of housework done! Today was one of those days! Spring/Summer clothes are out in my closet--I had forgotten about some of them and it's like I have a whole new wardrobe! Plus I got the house pretty clean-washed clothes, etc. It feels good to get that done for another week. I try not to do too much house cleaning during the week-other than straightening or telling the girls to put their stuff away! Usually it's 95% JoGail's stuff and 5 % Grace's stuff!) I even got my lunches cooked and put away for next week!

3. A husband who's counting calories with me. It's soo much easier when he does it as well. He's lost almost 20 pounds, me 11. I just can't describe the good feeling of support when he's doing it with me. I'm still too chicken to try his 'Spartan' workout he does, though.

4.Water and lemons! I am trying ot get back in the habit of trying to drink more water. Last summer while on vacation we had some and I was hooked. You just take some water in a glass pitcher and slice some lemons and put in it. Then I like to put it in the refrigerator. It's very refreshing!

5. Alka Seltzer nighttime cold formula! I'm not sure what it's in that not in other stuff, but that works good for me right now!Yes, you put the two little tablets in water and it fizzes and then you drink it. Then in about 30 minutes I go night, night and generally sleep all night. So far it's kept the cold from getting into my lungs, which is good since I have asthma.

Well, I have two more weeks before my spring break. I have a todo list to accomplish that week, so I should be busy.  Before then the girls and have to go Easter dress shopping. That's always fun! They are so different to shop with.-but both have good taste.
Looking forward to meeting my 'little' brother Mike and Amanda tomorrow for lunch! Can't wait to see them. First time to see them since they got married!!!!
